 Edward Podlaszewski

I am a native of Fishtown. Born in 1957 at 2406 E. Cumberland Street in
Phila., Pa. When my mother was
ready to deliver the doctor(Dr. Kraus) came to the house with his little
black bag and delivered me in the house right in the middle bedroom on the
second floor. The next day my mom was up and around. Those were the
days..........................
I was always interested in cars and did get into it for over 30 years. A
couple of years working for a car agency and then having my own business at
Fishtown Automotive for twenty six years. Then I decided I needed a career change.
Whenever I needed any real estate or tag needs I went to Raymond Leibovitz &
Son Realtors and usually saw Wayne or Lorraine in the office. The last few
years in the auto business I would talk to Wayne about joining his agency on
Girard Ave. When I closed the garage , Mr. Leibovitz accepted me as an
agent. Of course, prior to this I went ot Temple University to receive the
knowledge to pass the State and National real estate tests.

Now after being an agent for Century 21 Leibovitz Realtors , I am very happy
I joined this organization. There are good and helpful people here. They
accomodate and blend every which way to help out. Many years of experienced
people work out of this office. Whether it be residential or commercial, we can
set you up with many possibilities.

MARCY WIESEMAN LEADER

Marcy has been a Realtor at Century 21 Leibovitz since 1988.  A thirty-year resident of Fishtown, she has seen many changes and improvements to the neighborhood, and is pleased that so many  people have come to appreciate Fishtown’s positive qualities.

First-time buyers know that Marcy will carefully guide them through the exciting process of finding a home, thoroughly explaining it from mortgage pre-approval to the day of final settlement, with inspections and negotiations and everything in between.  The experienced buyer or investor can count on Marcy to help sort out the many options available, whether moving up, downsizing, or looking for value.

Additionally, sellers know that when it comes to property values in the Fishtown area, Marcy’s knowledge is second to none.  She will work to get the best possible price for a seller, and smooth the way to a swift and successful closing.

Loyalty and consistency bring back repeat customers, and since neighbors like to pick their neighbors, referrals are a big part of Marcy’s clientele.

“The most important quality a Realtor must have is the ability to listen to clients and customers with an open mind,” says Marcy. “The purchase of a home is a life-changing event, and can be stressful. The real estate journey has become very complicated, and it gives me great professional satisfaction to travel the path with my people.”

Marcy also has a husband, 2 daughters, 4 cats, and a (finally) rehabbed house.
